Despite police, resident, church and town centre management opposition, on 24th April 2013, Richard Williams obtained a SEV licence for "Delicious" in Legh Street, Warrington. This will be the first sexual entertainment venue licensed in Warrington.
The Sub-Committee determined that the grant of the licence was not inappropriate, having regard to the relevant locality.

This was a complex application which required consultation with Cheshire Constabulary (which ultimately withdrew its objection). LR Law prepared a detailed site assessment plan showing the location of "sensitive" uses in the vicinity. Whilst there was a NHS centre, a nursery and shopping centre nearby, none of these uses overlapped the time when the lap dancing club would be open.
We will report back after the opening night!
